Cary City Meet - Sign Up Now!
The 43rd annual Cary City Invitational Meet will be Saturday, July 11 at Scottish Hills Recreational Club. This major local event brings together multiple swim teams from around our area for a full day of swim fun! It is a great tradition our Swampfoxxes participate in, especially since we have won the coveted Spirit Award Trophy 6 of the last 10 years! You might have heard your kids talk about practicing for the dances -- especially if they were at the car wash.
The event includes dancing, games, mingling with other teams, and of course, swimming!! The event is broken into two sessions - morning for swimmers ages 10 and under (7am-12:30pm), afternoon for swimmers ages 11 and up (1-7:30pm). Every year our Swampfoxx tent has a theme, and this year our coaches have picked Alice in Wonderland to be our theme! This means our t-shirts, tent, and team craft will all be themed Alice in Wonderland.
Different than in years past, this season we are asking for families to make the swimmer registration fee BEFORE we are able to sign up for strokes with the Cary City Meet committee. This will give our coaches and team parents time to prepare for the event without being super rushed. Additionally, we are assessing a FLAT per swimmer fee this year, which helps our team cover for the swimmer fees along with the tent rental and other fees associated with the event.
Fees for this year are:
- $20 per swimmer ages 7 and up
- $10 per swimmer ages 6 and under
- $15 per themed shirt (optional!)
Swim fees for Cary City are due by this coming Monday, June 22.
