COACHES CORNER
- Coach Allie: Hey parents! I cannot reiterate how proud I am of all of our swimmers and the success that we had in the pool this season. Thank you to all my parents who pitched in to help us have such a successful season. I recognized your hard work every week and I want you to know that I appreciated it so much. On top of our success in the water, I hope the kids had fun and made so many memories outside of the water. I know I will always hold the memories from these last two seasons close to my heart. I can always be reached at [email protected] if you have any remaining questions, concerns, or would like to keep in touch. Hopefully I see you guys around the pool before I head back to Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). Thank you and Go Swampfoxxes.
- Coach Sophia: Hello parents! This has been a great season and I am so proud of how far all of the swimmers have come this season. I am so grateful that I had the privilege to watch the swimmers develop both in and out of the water. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on and off the pool deck to make this season so special. This group of swimmers impressed me so much and I hope to see everyone come back for next year. I will still be doing private lessons until August 10 so if anyone is interested please reach out at [email protected]. Thank you all for your help throughout the season and I hope the rest of everyone’s summer goes well!
- Coach Lilly: Hi parents, I can’t believe the season has already come to an end, I’m so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of kids this year. I’m so proud of all the Swamp Pups, they made so much progress this season and really gave it their all at practices. The Swamp Pup “swim meet” we did during Monday practice went better than I could’ve hoped and it made me so happy to see our young swimmers put their skills in use with the rest of the team cheering them on! If you have any remaining questions or concerns, you’re always welcome to reach out at [email protected]. Thank you again for such a wonderful season, and I hope to see all of our Swamp Pups continue to grow with the Swampfoxx community next summer!
FEEDBACK SURVEY AND OPEN BOARD POSITIONS: Please let us know if you have feedback from the season - both praise and constructive criticism is welcome. We would appreciate your feedback by completing this survey: https://forms.gle/Fz1YMAqbfWmWhumE9. The survey will close on Friday July 31, 2026. The survey includes a question about serving on the board next year. There is a seat for you if you wish to join our board! We appreciate all the parents who have already stepped up to serve, reached out to volunteer, and/or are willing to engage in a conversation about volunteering for a role! Reach out to Katie Richards via text (512-785-8845) or email ([email protected]) if you're interested.
FINAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Thank you to our parents who have signed up to keep the Swamp Shack Clean, picking up BJ orders, and working the Labor Day Party. If your family is still in need of volunteer points, we will be cleaning the Pool Shed and the Clubhouse Storage Closet the Week of August 3. Sign up on Swimtopia and Katie will reach out to schedule it during that week.

Whew!! That's a wrap! Wishing you all a safe, healthy, and enjoyable rest of the summer and hope to see you at the pool and/or around the neighborhood.
