Hi Swamp Foxx families!

The weather is warming up and the pollening is upon us, which can only mean one thing, the 2026 summer swim season is right around the corner! We’re excited to kick things off for another great year with the Oxxford Hunt Swampfoxxes, and even more excited to announce that Coach Allie, Coach Sophia, and Coach Lilly will all be returning as our head coaches this season.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing important details about practice schedules, meet dates, volunteer opportunities, and everything you need to know to get ready for the season. Keep an eye out for those updates so you don’t miss anything.

Our goal this year is simple: have fun, build skills, and create a supportive, positive environment for all swimmers. None of this is possible without the help of our amazing families, so we truly appreciate everyone who pitches in throughout the season.

Whether you’re new to the OXH Swim Team or a returning family, if you have any questions as we get started, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the board.

• Summer swim registration opens April 13th and fees increase on May 8. Registration will be posted on the website.
• The calendar is updated with season events and meet schedules. Click on the meet or event calendar to subscribe and have events and meets synced to your calendar.
• Save the date for our Kickoff Event on Monday May 11th

New this year!

The strength of our team has always come from our community. The friendships built on the pool deck, the energy at meets, and the memories created are all made possible by the time and effort our families generously give throughout the season.

At our March meeting, the Board approved an updated Volunteer Policy designed to support that spirit of community while making participation more consistent, fair, and manageable for everyone. This new point-based system creates greater flexibility, allowing families to choose how and when they contribute in ways that best fit their schedules and interests.

Most importantly, this approach helps ensure that responsibilities are shared more evenly across the team. By spreading out volunteer roles and clearly recognizing different levels of commitment, we can better support our team leaders, reduce burnout, and create a more positive experience for all.

We are excited about this change and the opportunity it provides for every family to play a meaningful role in making the swim season fun, successful, and rewarding for our swimmers.

Family Survey

As the board and coaches prepare for the 2026 season, we want to make sure we’re building a program that works for you and your swimmers. Whether you are a returning family or considering joining for the first time, please take 3 to 5 minutes to share your thoughts in our 2026 Family Survey.

2026 Swim Suits

As you prepare for the summer swim season, you can purchase your team suits at Kiefer Aquatics, located at 1231 NW Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27513 (the Harris Teeter plaza at Maynard and High House). Our suits this year are the Kiefer Sandies Wave Daze: https://kiefer.com/products/kiefer-sandies-wave-daze-one-piece?variant=46581076230338. If you just tell the staff at Kiefer you need the suit for Oxxford Hunt, they will know which suit you need. If they don't have the size you need in stock, they will order it for you at the discounted team price ($36 for female suits and $30 for jammers).
