I'm following up on Chris' message about donating to the Brighton Forest swim team community following the tragic boating accident last week. Through August 14, you can use this Oxxford Hunt link to donate through the swim team. You can select as many increments of $5 as you would like (select "quantity - 4" if you want to donate $20, 5 units for $25, etc). We will pool all the money received, and add $300 from the team budget. We'll then divide the donation equally to each of the 3 fundraisers available - 1 to Jennifer's recovery, 1 to Brooklyn's funeral/family expenses, and 1 to a scholarship in Brooklyn's name. 

Jennifer Stehle is on the TSA Board of Directors, and is President of the Brighton Forest Silver Fins. She had a leg amputated because of the accident. The community also lost a family and swim team friend in the accident, 10 year old Brooklyn Mae Carroll. Brooklyn was a rising 5th grader at West Lake Elementary School in Apex.

Unrelated to the above, I also want to remind folks that the swim team end-of-season survey is still open. We've had 10 responses so far (thank you to those who did it!), and would love to receive more input by Thursday August 14.
