Week 9 Swim Team News (July 7-13)
As we approach the final two weeks of the swim meet, there are lots of announcements with end-of-season activities that are slightly different from our typical week-by-week announcements. Please be sure to sign up for the end of year banquet (Friday July 18), and register for the TSA Championship swim meet if interested (Sunday July 20).
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SWIMMERS OF THE WEEK: Our swimmers of the week are: Ally Schisler (7U), Leona Pelc (6U), and Tiger Tu (pup). Ally did amazing this week as she continues to improve in every stroke. Leona always brings a positive attitude to practice and never fails to make her friends and coaches laugh! Tiger has made tremendous progress this season as he is now comfortable putting his head in the water and puts a lot of effort into every swim practice! Swimmers of the week receive a gift card in recognition for their hard work. Congratulations Ally, Leona, and Tiger!
COACH'S CORNER:
- Coach Allie: Hello! We had another successful week with an awesome win at Highcroft. I am seeing lots of improvement and I am so happy with where we are at. We will continue to work on the little things and fixing up our strokes for the last couple weeks of practice. Thank you parents for being so awesome, I appreciate you guys so much and could not be doing this without y’all! As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out at [email protected] with any questions/concerns.
