Yesterday evening I was bummed that we didn't have that weather for the meet Tuesday and today I'm grateful we didn't have this weather! As a reminder, tomorrow's end of season banquet has been moved to Peace Church (on Chatham St at Cary Parkway). There is still time to add photos to our shared photo album in Google Photos. The Swampfoxx Swim Team is proud to announce our first ever slate for elected officers! 

Since we received our non-profit status mid-way through last season and approved by-laws for our team at last year's banquet, we are now ready to vote in our first Executive Committee. Terms have been amended from our written bylaws to promote staggered Executive Committee terms. This is due to being our first election and will not be repeated unless bylaws are officially amended. The vote will be on the slate as a whole and will take place during the banquet tomorrow night. Thank you to all who submitted nominations and especially to these volunteers listed below who agreed to say yes! 

Executive Committee Slate

• President - Brad Edgerton, 3 year term
• Co-President - Tim Pelc, 1 year term
• Treasurer - Rachel Davis, 2 year term
• Secretary - Nicolle Miller, 2 year term
