Entries - We have approximately 43 swimmers participating in Cary City Meet! Please be sure you have paid the entry fees ($6 per stroke) The swim team covers the relay entry fees ($12 per relay).

T-Shirts - T-shirts will be handed out at practice on Friday by Jeanette Selvaggi. Please come down to the pool to pick them up.

Decorations/Costumes - The coaches and parents have been hard at work on some awesome tent decorations! We need some assistance listed below for the final details.

  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040C4FADA729A20-50255339-cary has a few slots to help transport our team tables/coolers on Friday and/or Saturday and help set up decorations on Friday and take down decorations Saturday evening after the meet has concluded.

• NOTE: Due to weather concerns for Friday night the plan may be adjusted to decorate Saturday morning. Once you are signed up to help we can communicate that information out. We will also communicate it in the Swampfoxx parents forum on Facebook.
• Plan to show your Cars spirit! There's still time to get your Cars accessories!

Meet Volunteer Assignments - Each team is required to provide the assigned volunteers based on their team's entries. Our assignments are listed below and you sign up via Swimtopia as you would a regular meet. Click on the Cary City Meet that applies and Job Signup. We split the assignments into 2 shifts. You are more than welcome to share a shift with someone and split the time volunteering within that shift!

• 1 Stroke and Turn Judges PM session - 1 per shift
• 1 Kid Pusher AM session - 1 per shift
• 2 Timers AM session (Lane 5) - 2 per shift
• All volunteers (including those splitting assignments) must attend the appropriate volunteer meeting. Specific instructions regarding volunteer responsibilities will be provided, and volunteers will have an opportunity to ask questions.
• Volunteer Meetings will be held at:
  • 7:30 am for the morning session
  • 1:30 pm for the afternoon session
• Volunteer Meeting locations:
  • Stroke & Turn – will meet between the men's and women's restrooms at the front of the club - Report to Crystal Holladay, BRING Stroke and Turn Lanyard
  • Timers – will meet near the starting system/Lane 1 - BRING Timer Lanyard, 1 stopwatch
  • Kid Pushers – will meet at the Dive Well - Report to Jody Barish, Ryan Koluch, BRING Kid Pusher Lanyard

Food 

• Team Sign Up - Help bring some food items to share that will give our parents, coaches and swimmers energy for the day! Signup: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040C4FADA729A20-50255339-cary
• Concessions and food trucks will also be available. Subs along with snacks, candy and drinks at the concession area in the covered part at the front of the pool. Sunset Slush and Salvio's Pizza will be on the tennis courts. Food truck is Bolt Coffee and Energy Drink.

Arrival - See below for your arrival times and plan to be parking 10-15 minutes prior so you can arrive at the tent at the stated time. We will have a Check In Roster on a clipboard. Upon arrival please check in by signing the paper.

• Morning Session - ARRIVE by 7:15am, Warm up begins 7:30am-7:45am, lanes 4 and 5, events begin at 8:15am.
• Afternoon Session - ARRIVE by 12:50pm, Warm up begins 1:30pm-1:45pm, lane 1, events begin at 2:15pm.
• If you need to attend a Volunteer meeting at 7:30am/1:30pm please factor that into your arrival parking and arrival time.

Traffic/Parking - Additional parking maps will be sent separately. Please see information below

• Approach the pool from Cary Parkway and Tarbert Drive. DO NOT approach from Lake Pine.
• Be prepared to drop off swimmers at the designated drop off area and proceed to parking.
• NO PARKING: in drop off area, in front of mailboxes, driveways or traffic cones!

• Heat Sheets will be available in Swimtopia
• T-Shirts available for $20
• Goggles, caps and goggle straps available near the t-shirts
• Cash and credit cards accepted for all sales
