It's meet day! We know everyone is watching the weather, hoping the rain (and thunder) stay away. Please arrive at the Oxxford Hunt pool by 5p to start warm-ups.

Some tips and FYIs for tonight:
1. We have the meet if it is raining, but not if it thunders or there is lightning
2. 30 minutes must pass after the last sound of thunder before swimmers can return to the water
3. If we need to leave the pool deck (due to lightning), shelter is available at the clubhouse
4. Please be prepared for delays. If the meet is delayed more than one time, it will be postponed until tomorrow (Wednesday)
5. You may want some extra towels to wipe down deck chairs, and maybe rain jackets/ponchos if you want to try and stay dry
6. Your swimmers may want to have bathrobes/sweatshirts/sweatpants available to stay warm between events

We know nights like this can be challenging. We recommend coming with a positive, "go-with-the-flow" attitude, and remaining attentive to decisions being made as we go (especially if we have to leave the deck and then come back to the pool or if there are delays). Please do not leave the meet without checking in with the coaches, unless there is a clear directive that the meet has ended for the night!
