Week 6 Updates and Cary City Meet details
COACHES CORNER AND SWIMMERS OF THE WEEK:
- Coach Hope: Hello Everyone! This past week we competed in our first away meet since Covid. I’m so proud of everyone for showing up and for everyone’s team spirit! There were also many personal best times, and that is something we always love to see. Additionally, the number of disqualifications is quickly declining!! Now that our strokes are more legal, we can work on technique to improve efficiency. This past week we focused on improving body position for freestyle and backstroke. This upcoming week we have another home meet. I hope to see everyone there with the same fast swims and good team spirit!! Thank you all again for another great week! I will see you all next week!!
- Coach Mary: Hello everyone! I’m so proud of everyone who swam in this past week's meet! The number of disqualifications is quickly declining!!! At the meet this past Tuesday we only had one DQ throughout all the 6&U events!!! The 6&U have been working so hard to improve on their strokes, especially breakstroke. I am so thrilled to see them continue to improve a little more each week! This week we will be continuing to correct details in our breaststroke and work on our starts! I look forward to seeing everyone this week!
- Swimmers of the week: Eli Miller and Ammie Selvaggi for continuously pushing themselves and going the extra mile during practices

It is not appropriate to seek independent resolutions post meet. Thank you!
