This Saturday: Team Photos, Free Clinic, Cary City meeting

Swampfoxxes, I don't know about you, but I had a GREAT time at our first away meet against Regency. What an intense set of relays. Shout out to our swim-up relay swimmers that helped fill our older relays, they stepped up to fill big shoes and delivered when we needed them the most! The final score was Oxxford Hunt: 226, Regency: 275. A VERY strong showing from our Swampfoxxes. Special thanks to our parent relay participants for the most beautiful, elegant, and athletic performance to date. We didn't win, but I don't think we could have looked any better doing it!

SATURDAY IS A BIG DAY

At 9am the Marlins of Raleigh (MOR) are hosting a FREE clinic at the pool. They've been coordinating with our coaches, and will focus on butterfly and breaststroke. While the MOR clinic will only be for our 7 and up swimmers, coach Mary is also hosting a clinic for our 6 and unders at the same time. This is also FREE!

At 9:15am a meeting to discuss the Cary City Meet will be held to begin planning for Cary City and get organized around this event. This will be held while the swimmers are swimming in the clinic. Jeanette and Liz will discuss what Cary City Meet is, the timeline for registering, and what tasks the committee needs assistance with. Check out this article from CCM 2019 featuring some of our own! https://www.thepapur.com/cary/cary-city-meet

At 10am the Team Photos will begin for all swimmers! Everyone is welcome, and swamp pups are definitely encouraged to attend. Check the parent box starting around 6pm tonight to get an optional order form for individual or team photos. You can bring your payment on Saturday for any orders you would like.

Please help remind our swimmers to drink plenty of water before the photo! They will be standing still in the sunshine for a while, and it can get very hot very quickly. Bring your red and black swimsuits and a smile!
