Swampfoxxes, tomorrow we will kickoff our highly anticipated 2022 season on the pool deck!. For those registered to attend the event, we look forward to seeing you there. This will take the place of Monday practice, and normal practices will resume on Tuesday.

There will be 2 lifeguards on duty tomorrow night. This is a correction to a previous announcement. Please remember to sign in using your Pool ID when entering the pool.

An important note about practice times for ages 7-18: In prior years, the 5pm and 6pm practices were limited to certain age groups (6 and unders excluded). This year, we are offering practice for all age groups at all practice times. This means that any swimmer may come to the 5pm or 6pm practice regardless of their age, and the coaches will be instructing athletes according to their skill level. This is our first time attempting this new practice schedule - we are hoping this will give more flexibility to our athletes and encourage attendance at practices. We will be monitoring attendance at each practice, and if lane counts become too high or coaches aren't able to provide effective instruction, we may ask swimmers to attend practice at a different time, or we may revert back to our previous practice schedule.

In a survey sent last month, we found that most parents preferred the 5pm time slot for their swimmers, so we anticipate the 5pm practice time to be the most attended. If you have the flexibility to attend the 6pm practice, we greatly encourage you to do so, which will allow us to keep the practices balanced.

The Swamp Pups and 6 and under practices are unaffected by this change.

Kickoff information:

We will have LOTS more information to share with you tomorrow night at the kickoff. There is (of course) a possibility of adverse weather. We will communicate any changes or cancellations via email and the SwimTopia app.

5:15 - Social - Meals provided by the Swim Team and volunteer parents. Food will be served on the ground floor of the clubhouse.

6:00 - Announcements, information sharing, and introductions to the coaches. 

6:30 - Parents will meet with their volunteer committees while the swimmers get to know their coaches. Swimmers should bring their suits, goggles, and towels!
